Inviting All Mentors
In partnership with Hope Venture and Tapestry Church, we are inviting mentors from Tapestry to participate in a 6-month Convergence Incubator, designed to help entrepreneurs either launch or scale their businesses. Incubator begins in June 2021 and will end in November 2021.
As a mentor you will leverage your experience in owning or developing businesses to advise entrepreneurs who reside in South LA. Join us in our exciting pilot to bring restorative development to our city.
We are dedicated to grow a thriving community in South Los Angeles by cultivating entrepreneurial efforts among those underserved to create social, economic, and spiritual transformation.

What is the time commitment for this incubator?
This is a 6-month incubator, consisting of 2 parts. The first part is training, which will take 8 hours in total complete. The second part is mentorship. This will take place on a monthly basis at a time agreed by the mentor and entrepreneur.
Where are we meeting?
We hope to have a hybrid model over zoom and in person. Meeting in person will follow city guidelines and is tentative.
What is a typical schedule?
Training will take place on May 15th and May 22th for 4 hours each. After training, entrepreneurs and mentors will meet twice a month at a time that works best for their schedules to continue business development.
Who are the mentors?
Our mentors are volunteers who own their own businesses. Mentors will become the advocate and guide of the entrepreneurs participating in the incubator.
What is the difference between an consultant and a mentor?
A mentor will join the 6-month incubator and will be paired with an consultant. A consultant is a subject-matter expert and will be contacted to advise for a specific business development need.
What if I miss part of the incubator?
If you have conflicting schedule, please inform Convergence Operation team in advance. The Operation team will find a way to accommodate you and the entrepreneur's need.
